Polymeric adsorbent resin equivalent to Amberlite XAD2

LX-17 is a nonionic, hydrophobic, cross-linked polymeric adsorbent.

Its adsorptive properties derive from its macroreticular pore structure, high surface area, specially designed pore size distribution and aliphatic nature of its surface.

It could be used to adsorb non polar compounds from water or waste water solutions, and could also adsorb polar compounds from non-polar solvents.

Applications of  LX-17:

1) Removal of relatively polar compounds from nonaqueous solvents;

2) Removal of non-aromatic compounds from polar solvents;

3) Recovery of plant extracts;

4) Recovery of antibiotics, enzymes and proteins;

5) Recovery of organic pollutants from aqueous wastes, ground water etc

6) Enzyme immobilization.
