Cation exchange resin

A clean water cleaning:
After the new resin is packed, it should be cleaned with water at room temperature (50-60 degree hot-water) better.

B dilute sodium hydroxide solution treatment:
Concentration: 6-8%, dosage: 2-3bv, flow: 1-1.5bv/hr; wash with clean water to below pH 9.

C dilute hydrochloric acid treatment:
Concentration: 5-8%, dosage: 2-3bv, flow: 1-1.5bv/hr; wash with clear water to above pH 5.

D resin ion form conversion:
According to the production process requirements, if the hydrogen ion type is used, the operation steps can be B before C. if the sodium ion type is used, the operation steps can be C before B.
Generally, the new resin can be used after being treated 1-2 times according to the above steps.
